Welcome to horror movie reviews, dedicated to all things movies that send a chill down your spine and put an uneasy feeling in your gut. Since I was a young boy I have always enjoyed watching horror movies, Christopher Lee as Dracula in the classic Hammer movies, Peter Cushing as the famed “Vampire Hunter” and David Sole playing the hero in the 1979 Salem’s Lot.

These are my type of “horror films” while I will also review some of the more modern “slasher” type films I much prefer the classic style with out all the blood and guts of today’s movies. That does not mean that I won’t be waiting in line for the new “Halloween” movie this August, just means I prefer true classic “horror”.

horror: The horror classification denotes works that traffic in the bizarre, awful, and scary in order to entertain as well as explicate the darkness at the heart of the reader’s soul. Horror subgenres may be typified according to the appearance of were-creatures, vampires, human-induced monsters, or naturally occurring life forms and spirit entities - or absence thereof.
